In India, as per court’s orders, burning of leaves is not permitted in Delhi or National Capital Region. Yet there is a struggle to dispose of fallen leaves and grass cutting. While grass is sometimes put to use, the fallen leaves poses a challenge.
The current method of composting leaves requires several months. This leads to shortage of space for composting and often leads to burning of leaves.
