Gel technology is one of the most important advances in cockroach control, it is fast becoming the method of choice. Gel application is especially suited to application in sensitive facilities such as hospitals, schools, kindergardens, offices, food-processing plants, etc. and in areas where electrical appliances, switchboxes and computers, etc. are found. Here due to the risk of short circuit, preference should be given to the use of gel over all other formulations.
Recommended method of application:
The excellent adhesion and milky colour of the gel allows for inconspicuous use in strategic locations and on a variety of surfaces. Using the applicator gun place spots of 0.1 g (5mm diameter) as follows:
Cracks and crevices in kitchen cupboards, shelves and drawers
Corners under table tops
Connecting joints and pipes under sinks
Under and behind electric appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washing machines, computers, switch boxes.
In corners and cracks of walls, door and window frames
Under the lid and at the bottom of garbage containers
